Gastroenterologist in the Gastroenterology Department of Centro Hospitalar do Porto, Portugal. Invited Assistant in Gastroenterology in the Medical Faculty of Porto, Portugal.

Specialized in the area of gastrointestinal oncology and therapeutic endoscopy of the digestive tract, namely ESD, after spending 3 months in Tokyo in 2015. Also perform therapeutic endoscopy in other areas, namely POEM, Z-POEM and G-POEM.

Invited to be part of the faculty and for lectures of several national and international meetings.

Published 96 papers, 42 as first author. Peer reviewer in 11 indexed journals. Had 68 oral comunications and 155 poster presentations as author or co-author. He is in the last year of his PhD project.

Has 25 awards, including the Gastroenterology National Award in 2020 and 2022.
