Dr. Iwatate is a specialized colonoscopist working under Pro Sano for more than ten years.

His main field is an NBI diagnosis, and he greatly contributed to developing the Japan NBI Expert Team (JNET) classification.

He is a member of the original JNET and a fellow of JGES.
