Colorectal surgeon and professor at National Defense Medial College, Japan, since 2016. Chairperson of Japanese Classification of Colorectal Carcinoma revision committee and a member of JSCCR (Japanese Society for Cancer of the Colon and Rectum) Guidelines committee. Has been involved in some international collaborations, including the T-REX study, International Prospective Observation Cohort Study for Optimal Bowel Resection Extent and Central Radicality for Colon Cancer.
