Mohit Gupta, MD currently serves as Director of Urologic Oncology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Gupta’s expertise stems from years of specialized surgical experience in both complex open and minimally-invasive surgery for patients with cancers of the kidney, bladder, prostate, adrenals, and testes. With numerous professional and academic accolades to his name, Dr. Gupta has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles, including multiple publications that have helped shape official guidelines published by the American Urologic Association (AUA). His research has been published in prestigious journals, including the Journal of Urology and European Urology and he is an active member of the AUA, European Association of Urology, and Society of Urologic Oncology. Dr. Gupta earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, completed residency training in urology at the University of Florida, and further specialized in urologic oncology during a two-year fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
