Dr. Tanev works as a neuropsychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) where he serves as Director of the TBI Clinical and Research Program and as Senior Director of Research and interim Chief Medical Officer at the Home Base Program. Dr. Tanev’s research interests include biological markers of PTSD, memory reconsolidation blockade as treatment for PTSD, and novel treatments for post-TBI depression. He has presented regionally, nationally, and internationally on a variety of neuropsychiatry topics. Dr. Tanev is the President of the American Neuropsychiatric Association (2021-2023).
