Tharick Pascoal is a behavior neurologist and Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychiatry and Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh, PA, United States. He earned his medical degree at University Federal of Pelotas and residency in neurology at PUCRS, both in Brazil. He obtained his Ph.D. in Neuroscience studying Alzheimer’s disease pathophysiological pathways with neuroimaging and fluid biomarkers at McGill University, Canada, under prof. Pedro Rosa-Neto. He recently joined the University of Pittsburgh as an Assistant Professor and is starting his research group, which will focus on investigating the integration of imaging and plasma biomarkers with clinical practices.
